ABOUT ME

I am Guillaume JUSTE, a graduate student in game programming from ISART Digital Paris.
My passion for video games started from a young age, and I kept developing it while growing up, trying all kinds of games (pokemon, Age of Empire, Battlefield, Final Fantasy...) to a point where I wanted to make it my job. To that end, I enrolled in ISART Digital where I learn the skills required to make it happen.
As such I am currently looking for employment as a game programmer C++/C#.

Research and development of a game engine and implementation of illumination and shadow models.

JAPANESE LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST N2

December 2023

Certify the proficiency to a certain degree in Japanese of non-native speakers.
N2: The ability to understand Japanese used in everyday situations, and in a variety of circumstances to a certain degree.
Being able to read materials written clearly on a variety of topics, such as articles and commentaries in newspapers and magazines as well as simple critiques.
As well as being able to comprehend orally presented materials such as coherent conversations and news reports, spoken at nearly natural speed in everyday situations as well as in a variety of settings. One is also able to understand the relationships among the people involved and the essential points of the presented materials.

C# DEVELOPER INTERNSHIP AT USERWARE

Userware is a French software development company specialized in Microsoft technologies.
My role was to help with the creation and update of tools in C# based on clients' requests.

February 2019 - August 2019

3D DEVELOPER INTERNSHIP AT HABITEO

Habiteo is a French company working on real estate digitalization in order to promote and sell them.

I was at first tasked with the update of existing tools in Python for Blender.

Then I had to develop and optimize an application based on a tool used in an older version of Blender.

PROJECTS

RAF & LEMY : THE CURSE OF SAKHAM I

October 2019 - June 2020

Raf & Lemy, my graduation project realized at ISART DIGITAL, is a 3D sidescrolling co-op game developed on Unreal Engine 4 by a dedicated team of 3 game designers, 4 game programmers, a game designer & programmer, 3 game artists, a sound designer, and a producer.

My role was to develop the camera, tools for the artist team and various gameplay elements (weighted platforms, projectiles, destructible elements ...) and their network replication.
